Dish Network Programming

OK, so we are in a recession. People are losing their jobs left, right, and center. Companies are posting record losses, and some of them are closing down. Banks are going bankrupt. Others have reduced, or cut lending altogether. Credit card limits have been slashed.

Despite these troubling times there are some luxuries that we cannot part with, and one of them is the television. Now, if you are a resident of the United States you know that when it comes to television you are presented with two options; cable or satellite television. There is Dish Network Satellite, DirecTV, Cox, Comcast, Time Warner, Charter Digital, and so on.

Cable generally costs more than satellite, sometimes running into the hundreds (in the difference you will pay). I would recommend satellite television any day, especially given the fact that satellite tv delivers 100% digital imaging.

Back to the issue of the global economic meltdown for a second now. Companies are downsizing in a major way. Some are slashing operating costs. Others not really. When it comes to satellite television provider Dish Network, they have done something that one wouldn’t really expect. They have reduced the pricing of their (previously known as America’s Top 100) Classic Bronze 100 from $34.99 per month down to $9.99/mo ! Wow ! That’s over 100 channels for about 10 bucks ? Good deal, if you ask me. Is that to coincide with the current state of the economy ? My guess is that it may be, although only the folks at Dish TV know the true reason.

Classic Bronze 100 isn’t the only package that has been reduced. They all have ! Their most comprehensive package, America’s “Everything” Pak now goes for $72.98 instead of the usual $97.98. On top of this great offer, you have the ability of adding TurboHD (the world’s first all-HD programming) to either their Classic Bronze 100, Classic Silver 200, Classic Gold 250, or America’s “Everything” Pak. The addition of the high-definition programming is free for 6 months. Yes, free !

TurboHD gives you the ability to view Blu-Ray quality programming in your home, without owning a Blu-Ray DVD Player. Only Dish Network can boast this.
Therefore, if you are a new Dish Network customer, now is the time to take advantage of this great offer, whether the recession has affected you or not. You do, however, have to commit to a 24-month contract. You cannot just sign up for a period of 6 months and then decide to opt out. Well, you can, but you will have to part with a couple hundred dollars !
